Celebration,Feasting....& Famine

Social occasions such as wedding and reception merit celebration and feasting.
True, but I'm appalled by the amount of food that goes waste. Untouched sweets and other dishes off the dinner table end up in trashcan. As if to complement the squander, I see beggars and dogs competing for what is trashed. Are we doing the right thing, I ask myself?

Are roads safer without Women?

Minis are here to stay, better get used to them, say women

A woman clad in a mini-skirt in a local entertainment spot. In this outfit, women command attention, feel powerful and beautiful and leave men mesmerised...........

There it is, everywhere you look, riding above the knees and for the brave, much higher. But for the daring, it is not complete without a slit, lending it an even more provocative look.
Since the mini-skirt or mini hit the fashion scene in the 60s, women took to it like fish in water and from then on, it arguably became one of the few fashion statements that have stood the test of time.

What happens to men then! 'Vulnerable'

Catching sight of a pretty woman really is enough to throw a man's decision-making skills into disarray.

The suggestion is that the sexual cues distract the men's thoughts, preventing them from focusing on their task - particularly among those with high natural testosterone levels.

Global Warming!

What Causes Global Warming?

Answer: Scientists have determined that a number of human activities are contributing to global warming by adding excessive amounts of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide accummulate in the atmosphere and trap heat that normally would exit into outer space.

Increasing global temperature is expected to cause sea level to raise, an increase in the intensity of extreme weather events, and significant changes to the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other expected effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, modifications of trade routes, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.
